In Greek and Roman mythology, Hygieia (also Hygiea or Hygeia, Greek Ὑγιεία or Ὑγεία, Latin Hygēa or Hygīa), was a daughter of the god of medicine, Asclepius. She was the goddess/personification of health (Greek: ὑγίεια - hugieia), cleanliness and sanitation.

The Office of Chief Inspector is liable for coordination of cooperation between Chief Sanitary Inspector and other authorities of governmental and local administration as well as with state administration e.g. Parliament of the Republic of Poland - Sejm, the lower chamber and Senate, higher chamber.
The other tasks of the Office are as follows:
Coordination of Chief Sanitary Inspector's participation in meetings of management board of Ministry of Health;
Support of Chancelery, responsible for all correspondence addressed to Chief Sanitary Inspector and all units of Chief Sanitary Inspectorate and Secretariats of Chief Inspector and his deputies.
We are also responsible for coordination and managment of all meetings of Chief Sanitary Inspector and his visits to other institutions.
Promotion of State Sanitary Inspection and it's authorities in press and electronic media are our last, but certainly not least, task to manage.
